EMBER introduces a new commercial measurement: Collective Organizational Identification (COI™). Where engagement asks how employees feel today, COI measures how deeply they identify with the organization itself, the durable signal that actually predicts revenue, retention, and brand strength.

This shift, from satisfaction to identification, is what makes EMBER predictive where other systems are reactive.

EMBER follows ethical data collection protocols approved by the U.S. federal Institutional Review Board (IRB), the standard for research involving human subjects. Every engagement preserves participant confidentiality, informed consent, and right to withdrawal.

04 · Scoring & Scale

The EMBER 0 to 50 Scale.

EMBER reports on a clear 0 to 50 scale with defined performance tiers. 30 is the neutral midpoint. Scores at or below 35 indicate organizational risk requiring intervention. Scores at or above 40 indicate leadership-tier workforce identity.

The EMBER Score is the equal-weighted mean of six workforce vital signs. The broader Workplace Identity Score (WIS™) adds four workplace moderators (Role Precision, AI Readiness, Brand Intelligence, Market Vision), creating a ten-signal composite that shows the full operational picture: EMBER's six measure who your workforce is; WIS's four measure whether your workplace is ready to translate that identity into outcome.
